The Old Stags Head has stood for around 200 years on Church Hill, anchoring the community of Penn with warmth and character. For generations it was a gathering place for locals and travellers alike — until it closed its doors in 2018.

Now, after plans to refurbish the historic pub were approved, The Old Stags Head is set to reopen. Our guiding goal was never to erase its beloved heritage, but to honour every historic timber and stone while creating a welcoming destination for modern gatherings.

From unhurried casual pints to celebratory family banquets, weekend date nights, and matchday excitement, we're ready to welcome Penn back through our doors.
